So, now we know how the coalition will get people back into work by investing nearly £1 billion of public money to create 35,000 jobs. There will be investment into over 100 projects that should attract billions of pounds of additional investment from private enterprise.
Well Mr Cameron, well done for actually doing something concrete and positive! Seemingly emphasis will be placed upon infrastructure projects with red tape planning obstructions being removed and super fast broadband being made available to two thirds of homes and offices by the end of 2014.
Let us hope that this laudable initiative by the government does more for unemployment and in particular for SMEs than the scheme to get banks to make credit more easily available achieved! We need to see those payslips being sent out in ever increasing numbers by SMEs who have the confidence in their order books and in their bank to increase the size of their payroll.
So, let us hope that the payroll outsourcers will soon be busy taking new orders from new SMEs and experiencing increased volumes from existing customers. At the end of all this government activity there is just one single illustration of success and that is the humble payslip, be that an e-payslip or the very popular self seal mailer from www.mastermailer.co.uk the UK’s leading supplier.
You have started the ball rolling Mr Cameron. The mailers are ready for the new employees to see the results of your initiative and their labours!
